We Know Tenkara & High Country Rivers & Streams
As Colorado’s First Tenkara Certified guide service & Tenkara USA retailer, we pride ourselves on our dedication to teaching the Tenkara method in our beautiful alpine resources. As locals, we understand Tenkara backcountry fisheries. Ask us how to “connect the dots” to include your high country Tenkara fly fishing trip as part of a regional day trip when considering other nearby activities or destinations near Ouray, Silverton, or Telluride, Colorado.

Our access to ideal high country Tenkara waters is centrally located between Ridgway, Ouray, Silverton, and Telluride, an easy drive from our shop, with vast angler access covering countless miles of creeks and streams. Some hiking and walk-wading in the river is necessary, so let our staff know if lite hiking is your limit. Please be sure to acclimate to our higher elevations to ensure comfort and safety.
