Centrally located – 10 minutes from Ouray, 45 minutes from Telluride, and 30 minutes from major airline service at Montrose Regional Airport. Low Client-to-Guide Ratio
We exclusively offer a low client-to-guide ratio with a maximum of 2 clients to 1 guide and no “mixed parties”. This way, each guest gets the individualized personal attention and quality instruction they deserve.

We bring the experience to you! Our Fly Shop location allows for adaptability based on conditions, offering everything from gold medal water float fishing, remote high county streams & creeks, year-round tailwater fisheries, pristine freestone rivers and still waters. We choose each product because we believe they are the best products offered for our region. Fishing is our passion and sharing what we know is our goal. With our fly fishing trips or our Instructional Clinics, we are here to help expand your fly fishing knowledge.
Additional Items
Any additional items you may need can be purchased prior to your trip at our Full-Service Fly Shop. Most rivers are located within a one hour or less of Telluride, Ouray, and Montrose, Colorado. All major airlines service Montrose Regional Airport, located 30 minutes from our Fly Shop. Reservations Team
Choosing the right fishing trip. We cater each fly fishing trip to the individual’s skill level and requests, based on the best trip choice and most suitable conditions. It is your trip, so make sure you let our reservations staff know what you are hoping to get out of your fly fishing trip. Our knowledgeable reservation team will walk you through how to select the best trip for your party– no experience required.
Fishing and Hunting Licenses
Licenses are available at RIGS Full Service Fly Shop online through the Colorado Parks and Wildlife website.
In order to legally fish in the State of Colorado, anyone 16 years or older must possess a valid Colorado State Fishing License. When purchasing a Division of Wildlife License, the State requires your driver’s license/passport, social security number, height, weight, and phone number. The cost of the fishing license is not included in trip prices. Licenses can be purchased for periods of one day or more.
