While they are not sure about the science, there seems to be a direct correlation between whiskey aficionados, dog lovers, and anglers. We certainly love all three ourselves!
The foundation of these collars is a highly durable, 1" webbing. The leather we selected is a 6/7 ounce Latigo leather, which will withstand wet/outdoor conditions and is flexible. The 1" buckle, D-ring and rivets are all made of solid brass to resist corrosion. No plastic "hardware".
