The Ross x Coors Light Cimarron LT is a limited-edition fly reel featuring Ross's industry-first, patent-pending ThermoChromic technology—color-changing mountain graphics inspired by the iconic Coors Light can that react to water temperature in real time. The mountains turn blue below 70°F, signaling safer conditions for trout, and fade clear as temperatures rise, giving anglers a built-in visual cue for when not to fish.
Built on the all-new Cimarron LT platform, this reel was reworked from the frame up with aggressive porting to shed weight, a refined aluminum drag knob, and premium in-house anodizing done in Montrose, Colorado. The result: lightweight performance, a smooth composite-disc drag, and classic Ross styling in a reel that's as much about protecting cold water as fishing it.
With every reel sold, is numbered and a portion of proceeds supports Trout Unlimited's river conservation efforts. Ross Reels and Coors Light have raised over $200,000 to date for cold-water conservation, with a shared goal of raising an additional $100,000 in 2026.
